Whether you have a puppy that needs exposure to different situations and to train amongst other dogs while learning to manage that distraction or a dog already working at Open level and you are fine tuning your skills together, then we have events that should appeal to you

TRAINING FOR NOVICE DOGS

This year we are including a group for Young Handlers, under 16 years
MORNING: Training in groups of 6 handlers and dogs. Groups will be based on the level you and your dog are currently working at. One of our Trainers will manage each group and help you get the most out of the session
AFTERNOON: Put the morning’s training into practice in our series of Mock Working Tests.
There are prizes for the winners as well as a raffle for fun.
There are just 24 places at £45 each.

Preparing you and your dog for walked up competitions
This Walked Up Training Day at Novice Level is designed to prepare members aiming to enter walked up competitions and is based on FT lines and Field Trials to simulate these events.
MORNING::
Theory: Phillippa identifies the key points in the J Regs that you need to know before entering a Walked Up competition.
Practice: Here your dog(s) will be trained on steadiness and working inline.
AFTERNOON:
Practice: A Mock Trial, where attendees will experience what happens at a Walked Up competition, how galleries are run and the running order.
Handlers without a dog will have the opportunity to ask questions and be fully included in the day.
All attendees will be provided with an extensive pack of supporting information and appropriate stationary to use on the day.
