For those that prefer to Show the Labrador breed, Kennel Club showing of Labrador Retrievers serves as a platform for breed preservation, education, and community engagement, while also celebrating the beauty and versatility of the breed.
Dog showing or exhibiting is an exciting, competitive activity where dogs compete against each other for prizes or awards. It is a competition where a dog’s attributes and conformation are compared against the Labrador Retriever breed standard. Whilst it can often be taken very seriously, it can be a fun pursuit that people and their dogs thoroughly enjoy.
