FIELD TRIAL SCHEDULE 2026

General Notes for Field Trial Applicants

• All Field Trials are held under Kennel Club Ltd Rules and J Regs

• All Field Trials require a none refundable nomination fee of £5 payable with your entry. To be included in the draw, this fee MUST be paid before the closing date.

• ​Entrants are reminded to read the KC Guide to entering Field Trials and note especially, as a courtesy to others, to only enter dogs fully trained and ready to compete and without eliminating faults.

• Club rules and conditions should be read and adhered to.

• Entries and payment are preferred by FTMS, postal entries will be accepted and must include cheques and a stamped addressed envelope in order to receive the draw result. If paying via bank transfer you must confirm payment has been made to the Field Trial Secretary via WhatsApp or text message supported with photo evidence.

• The club will not issue any reminders for payment of Nomination fees or Entry fees for any of our trials.

• Preferences: Open Trial preference will be given to dogs that have gained 1st in an All Aged or 1st in a Novice stake. All Aged Trial preference will be given to dogs that gained 1st, 2nd 3rd 4th or COM in a novice stake. Novice Trial preference if two trials of the same denomination are run in the same season, preference will be given to handlers who did not run in the first trial.

• For those who are successful in the draw, Entre Fees must be paid after receipt of the draw by the date specified on the schedule.  Failure to do so will result in withdrawal from the trial. For Reserves, those competitors offered a run should pay their entry fee in accordance with instructions given by the Field Trial Secretary.

• All successful in the draw will receive final joining details.
